After years, Renada Zoroghliani finally met her children with Sapari’s assistance and mediation.
In March 2023, Renada Zoroghliani, who presently lives in Akhaltsikhe, got in touch with Sapari. Renada, a Georgian citizen, resided in Armenia with her husband and kids until 2020, when her health began to deteriorate and she had to travel and stay with her parents in Georgia because the required medical treatments could not be financed in Armenia. In addition, because of her health, her husband divorced her; he continued to live with their children in Armenia and limited Renada’s contact with them. The mother was deprived of seeing and communicating with her children for three years.
In August, Sapari contacted the “Impact Innovations Institute,” a partner organization that advocates for women’s rights in Armenia. With their assistance, through mediation, without the need for court proceedings, phone contact with Renada’s children was reestablished, and in December, the father brought the kids to Georgia to meet their mother.
