Case of Sapari: the truck driver has been charged in the case of hitch hiking

Union Sapari has been defending the interests of N. Kh. for almost a year, in the high-profile case of hitchhiking.
By the decision of the Prosecutor, N. Kh. was initially recognized only as a victim in connection with the fact of Illegal imprisonment.
In the mentioned criminal case, Sapari has repeatedly requested an investigation under the article of sex crime as well, since the testimony of the victim also reveals the indicated crime.
In August of the current year, N.Kh. was recognized as a victim under Article 139 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates coercion into penetration of a sexual nature into the body of a person, using the victim’s helpless state.
In August of this year, the driver of the truck was charged, the pre-trial hearing in the case is scheduled for September 22 this year.
